Coloratura is a type of soprano that has a high range and can execute with ease the style of singing that includes elaborate ornamentation and embellishment, including running passages and trills.

Bel Canto means, most literally, "beautiful singing." It is a term used to describe all Italian singing, but in particular the light, bright quality that Italian opera singers use to charm audiences.  Bel Canto refers to a school of singing that existed in the 1800's. .

Heldentenor A robust style of tenor voice especially suited for heroic operatic roles. Often a Tenore Robusto used for roles in operas.
